Mud Hole Re-Signs Elite Pro Bradley Roy

Oviedo, Florida – December 7, 2016 – Mud Hole is proud to welcome back and sponsor the youngest angler to ever compete at the professional level, Bassmaster Elite Pro Bradley Roy. Roy is an Elite Pro known as much for catching bass as giving back to the community so we at Mud Hole are proud to continue our support of Bradley’s fishing, his message, and his success.

Roy’s Journey: Young Gun to Mud Hole Fishing Phenom

From an early age, Bradley Roy took to the adrenaline and experience of bass fishing. Catching bass competitively alongside his father in local club tournaments, Roy became an angling legend around his hometown of Lancaster, Kentucky.

Before long, Bradley Roy qualified to represent the State of Kentucky in 2004’s Junior Bassmaster World Championships. Roy, who was only 13 years old, went to Lake Norman in North Carolina and won the whole tournament. But Bradley didn’t stop there, he continued to grow as both an angler and leader in his community.

Once he qualified for the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2009, Roy became the youngest professional fisherman not long after his 19th birthday. Roy won Rookie of the Year and has been busy bass fishing and winning since. Fishing 78 tournaments so far, he’s finished 36 times in the top 30 and cashed in 33 times for over $300,000.

With a title sponsorship deal done, Roy’s future in Mud Hole’s blue and yellow looks more than promising. Roy’s versatile talents can only be enhanced by the knowledge and inventory available at Mud Hole Custom Tackle. This combo looks to be lethal on the water entering the 2017 Bassmaster Elite Series.

As he looks forward to this year’s Classic, Elite Pro Bradley Roy is excited to continue building, fishing, and winning with his custom MHX rods.

Elite Pro Bradley Roy Gives Back

Bradley Roy is known just as much for his bass fishing skills on the water as his humanitarian efforts off it. From hosting the Annual Bradley Roy High School Open and the USA Cares/Bradley Roy Stars and Stripes Bass Open to teaching custom rod building to Kentucky’s youth, he stays busy getting involved and giving back to the community.

Together, Mud Hole and Elite Pro Bradley Roy look forward to spreading our passion for rod building, fishing, and winning across the nation during the 2017 Bassmaster Elite Series and beyond.
